Hulu is garbage : television. Sorry if this has been posted before, but I needed somewhere to vent.

Hulu is by far the worst streaming app I have tried. I began using Hulu only a few days ago, and with each passing day I've realized it was a giant mistake. Let's start with the basics. The app itself is inferior to, well, every other streaming app on my smart TV and Apple TV. The lay out is terrible. It seems to take twice as long as my other frequent apps to load. I often receive messages that there's no network connectivity despite the fact that all other apps and devices I test seem to have no issues. The app randomly seems to disconnect at times. Every few episodes I watch, the auto play will actually repeat the same fucking episode, meaning I've sat through a bunch of ads for no reason.

Ads throughout the program. Then they cram more freaking ads in last second before the credits. And if you leave auto play on the episodes continue like this, with basically 1. And that's just for one ~2. I'm not even going to get into how annoying and repetitive those commercials are.

Then there's the fact that the ads seem to be front loaded and the show has to rebuffer after every single set of fucking ads. Oh, and if it times out after the ads I have to sit through the ads again to get to the show. I don't get how Hulu thinks it can even remotely remain competitive with such a shitty business model. Sure, they have access to content earlier than, let's say, Netflix, but there are other apps out there that can fill the role Hulu seems to think it fills, with less of the bullshit.

And these are just the problems I have had with them in a few days. And the problems have remained consistent no matter which device I use. Once this month is over I never plan on renewing my subscription with them. Edit: As a few posters have clarified in the comments, the commercial free subscription is mostly without commercials, barring a handful of exceptions.

I still have too many issues with the app itself to renew my subscription or pay even more money. When they ever get around to fixing it I'll consider resubbing to Hulu.

Until then I'll just enjoy my other streaming services.
